Stylish Seattle Wedding at The Olympic Rooftop Pavilion

Stylish Seattle Wedding at The Olympic Rooftop Pavilion

Autumn in the Pacific Northwest is a unique beauty and a exquisite source of inspiration for a wedding. Allie and Noah’s Seattle wedding took place at the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion where Stacy Anderson Designs created a classic and romantic fall color palette that fit both the couple’s vision and the venue flawlessly. We positively adore Allie’s bridal style, from her suede aubergine pumps to her sapphire ring to the delicate chain perched across her shoulders.

The Couple:

Allie and Noah

The Wedding:

The Olympic Rooftop Pavilion at Hotel Ballard , Seattle, Washington

The Inspiration:

We wanted our wedding to strike a balance between low-key and stylish, and selected a color scheme inspired by Autumn in the Pacific Northwest: green for the foliage, gold for the light, and burgundy for the tones of the sun-rise and -set. Stacy Anderson, our stellar floral and event designer, helped us to actualize this vision, seamlessly capitalizing on our love of texture, elegance, and simplicity. We wanted the same for our wedding day fashion: effortless and clean looks that would serve as beautiful backdrops for our colorful florals. My hair was adorned with the same burgundy flowers found in her bouquet, creating a cohesive and organic look.

The Moments:

The memories that stand out most to me are the ceremony, and the moments that followed immediately thereafter. Noah and I wanted to get married on the balcony of the Pavilion, which didn’t have a ton of room – so we had our families and elderly guests seated, and the rest of the guests standing in a half-circle around us. Partway through our brief ceremony, our officiant had us look out at the group and take in the moment, recognizing the love around us. I made eye contact with my parents, my sister, and my best friends. It was such a poignant moment, connecting with all of the people who supported Noah and I so much, and we felt completely cocooned by their presence. I’ll never forget that moment.

Immediately following the ceremony, Noah and I spend just a few minutes alone together in our hotel room. The first of those moments were spent in happy tears, and we spent the rest of the time taking selfies; those images ended up being my very favorites from the wedding.

The Couple Recommends:

Stacy Anderson, our floral and event designer, was a dream to work with. She consulted on almost all aspects of our event design from start-to-finish, and the result was a beautiful and cohesive aesthetic that could not have been reached without her incredible expertise. I couldn’t imagine anyone else having designed our wedding.

Classic Ivory Wedding at Calamigos Ranch

Classic Ivory Wedding at Calamigos Ranch

An understated color palette of ivory and cream is a surefire way to achieve a classic wedding, no matter your venue. Luckily for Erin and Randall, Calamigos Ranch provided a gorgeous backdrop, and the couple was dressed to the nines. The romantic celebration took place on Valentine’s Day, so the bridesmaids wore pale pink as a subtle tribute and the aisle was lined with red rose petals. Anna Delores Photography captured the rustic elegance just as beautifully as she did the quiet moments the newlyweds shared alone in the sunshine after tying the knot.

The Couple:

Erin and Randall

The Wedding:

Calamigos Ranch , Malibu, California

The Inspiration:

Classic. The color scheme was white/cream/gold/ivory/petal pink with a touch of red for Valentines Day. Our venue was beautiful and rustic so I wanted to only enhance it to a more beautiful soft classic feel. It felt very enchanted.

I wanted a classic looking dress. I wanted to feel very bridal. I customized my dress by adding thin straps and buttons down the back. I also removed a rhinestone band to make it look timeless. The dress had beautiful lace detail cascading down the train. It was magical.

The Moments:

My favorite moment was when all our guests were sitting down enjoying their dinners and Randall and I walked around from person to person giving hugs. It was overwhelming how much love and being in a room surrounded by our favorite people. The room was lit by so many candles and had a cozy fireplace it really felt like a dream.

The Couple Recommends:

I really loved our photographer. She was so amazing and so accommodating. She kept the flow running and had so many creative ideas. I’m so glad we hired her!!

Bohemian Tuscan Elopement at La Poggiolaia

Bohemian Tuscan Elopement at La Poggiolaia

For Devon and Michael, deciding to elope in Tuscany was as easy a decision as falling in love; it was completely natural. The elegant, intimate nuptials took place at La Poggiolaia in the Tuscan countryside where the sky didn’t have a cloud in sight. Chiara Sernesi of Weddings in Tuscany went above and beyond in creating the couple’s dream wedding from start to finish, and every inch was captured flawlessly by photographer Francesco Spighi and cinematographer Matteo Castelluccia .

The Couple:

Devon and Michael

The Wedding:

La Poggiolaia , Tuscany, Italy

The Inspiration:

We wanted to elope in a beautiful setting that has a special place in our hearts; Italy was an easy choice. Tuscany is one of the most magical places on Earth and our main inspiration. We wanted a simple, elegant, and low-key wedding with the focus being on our marriage and new life together. The wedding decor was all Chiara, our wedding planner. Everything was better than I could have imagined and exactly my taste without us ever speaking with Chiara in person. She nailed the chic, bohemian vibe I wanted and everything turned out perfectly. Mike wore his go-to tuxedo, by Isaia, and new Allen Edmonds shoes. We only had about 3 months to plan, so I had my dress made in San Francisco by Julie Ireland who made the process so fun and stress-free and made me the perfect dress in limited time!

The Moments:

After the ceremony and photoshoot, we returned to our villa to a beautifully set table for an unforgettable dinner outside on the porch, cooked by a private chef. The best tiramisu I’ve ever tasted stood in as a wedding cake. Just before dinner, we had our first dance outside on the hill with the musician playing “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran on guitar.

The Moments:

Unlike most couples, we actually enjoyed our wedding. We weren’t worked up, we kept chit-chatting (and gossiping!) the whole time. We shared the best laughs discussing all the funnily dressed guests, and the best thing was that we had the weather on our side. We had a outdoor set-up, and it rained cats and dogs two days before the wedding, but on the day, we were blessed with a nice, sunny weather. Just perfect for a winter wedding.

The Couple Recommends:

I would recommend my lovely photographer to everyone. She is a lovely young lady, and she takes the best candid shots. She is a true star. Absolutely love her work. I am not only a client, I am also a fan.
