It still feels weird that even after all these months since the third season of this series ended, it still hasn’t been picked up for a domestic license. But with the sixth and final release landing in Japan this week, we’ve now got the full formal cover roundup of The World God Only Knows: Goddesses. The first two seasons have previously seen license and release in North America through Sentai Filmworks and it’s still expected that they’ll eventually get the license. The series was simulcast through Crunchyroll and was available worldwide excluding Asia, Belgium, France, and Switzerland.
The series began its release on September 25th, 2013 with the LE Blu-ray running for 7,140 yen and the LE DVD for 6,090 yen. The regular edition Blu-ray retails for 6,090 yen while the regular edition DVD goes for a lower 5,040 yen. The first two seasons of the series have been previously picked up and licensed by Sentai Filmworks as well as various overseas partners in the UK and Australia, giving it a pretty wide reach.
Check out all six of the covers below. Which would you want to see for a home video release?
