Grand Moff Tarkin Debuts On ‘Star Wars Rebels’

Grand Moff Tarkin Debuts On ‘Star Wars Rebels’ As we get closer to the end of the first season of Star Wars Rebels, another familiar face from the past is showing up in the form of Grand Moff Tarkin. He’s being played by Stephen Stanton, who voiced Tarkin in The Clone Wars. Disney XD has released two new clips for the character’s debut through the official Star Wars YouTube channel, which has Tarkin arriving and talking a bit about the Jedi.

In “Call to Action,” Grand Moff Tarkin addresses the likelihood that a Jedi is leading the Lothal rebels.

The series stars Freddie Prinze, Jr., Taylor Gray, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar and Vanessa Marshall.

Plot concept: Set between the events of Episode III and IV — an era spanning almost two decades never-before explored on-screen. It takes place in a time where the Empire is securing its grip on the galaxy and hunting down the last of the Jedi Knights as a fledgling rebellion against the Empire is taking shape.
