‘Himouto!’ Umaru-chan’ Manga Getting Bundled Anime Episode The upcoming anime series Himouto! Umaru-chan has a bit of not-surprising news. As we’ve seen with a number of series coming from manga or light novels, production is including an extra episode more and more to draw the anime fans to the original work. With this series, a manga bundled limited edition release is planned for the senth volume that arrives on October 19th, 2015. The episode is being done by the same team as the TV series. The series is set to debut on July 9th, 2015. The anime adaptation of SankakuHead’s manga series is set for summer 2015 series. The show will be directed by Masahiko Ohta based on the scripts by Takashi Aoshima along with character designs by Aya Takano and that it’ll be done at Dogakoba. Ohta, Aoshima and sound director Yasunori Ebina all worked together on Yuruyuri and a few of them on Kotoura-san.

The main cast is set to include:

  • Yurina Furukawa as Sylphynford Tachibana
  • Haruka Shiraishi as Kirie Motoba
  • Akari Kageyama as Nana Ebina
  • Kenji Nojima as Taihei Doma
  • Tetsuya Kakihara as Alex
  • Hiroki Yasumoto as Bonba

The property has been running since 2013 in Weekly Young Jump with six volumes released so far.

Plot concept: The sibling gag comedy manga centers around Umaru, Taihei’s little sister who boasts beautiful looks as well as prowess in both school and sports; however, “Himouto” (beautiful little sister) has a certain secret.
